Your ink is in the Dermis.
We treat the Epidermis.
We need to be completely honest: The Day 50+ Bar is not a magic eraser. If a tattoo is 20 years old and was applied poorly, no soap on earth will fix the ink. But here is the reality of skin science: your ink lives in the deeper layer of your skin (the dermis).
The top layer of your skin (the epidermis) acts as a window over that art. When dead cells, sweat, and environmental grime build up, that window gets foggy. Your ink looks ashy, but it's actually just buried. The Day 50+ Bar is built to clean the window.
The Fix: Exfoliate Before You Hydrate
Balms only work if the canvas is clean. If you don't clear the dead skin first, you are just adding a temporary greasy shine to the surface. The Day 50+ bar was engineered to gently buff away that frosted glass layer in the shower, restoring the skin's natural health and clarity so your ink's true contrast shows through.
Same Tattoo. 2 Months Apart.
3-year-old tattoo on a collector who spent the summer outdoors with sunscreen. Left: before Day 50+ Bar. Right: after 2 months of consistent use. Same studio. Same lighting. Light layer of balm on both. No filter. No touch-up appointment.
Real customer. Unsponsored. After image shows shaved leg. Both images have a light layer of Banger Balm applied. Used Day 50+ Bar 2-3x weekly for 8 weeks. Individual results vary.
Why we ditched the plastic tubes and jars.
Most body scrubs on the market come in plastic squeeze tubes or jars. To get a scrub to flow out of a tube, it has to be heavily watered down and loaded with synthetic emulsifiers. Worse, they often rely on cheap, jagged physical exfoliants (like crushed apricot shells or walnut powder) that cause microscopic tears over your ink.
We chose to engineer a cold-process solid bar for one reason: Density.
A solid 4oz bar allows us to suspend perfectly round, non-damaging Jojoba beads inside a heavy base of raw olive oil and shea butter. Zero water weight. Zero synthetic fillers. Just 100% active, functional ingredients.
Clearer Tattoos. Zero Greasy Finish.
To maintain old ink, you need a formula that removes the dullness while locking in maximum moisture. Clean, hydrated skin is the foundation of a defined tattoo.
Jojoba Beads (The Physical Exfoliant)
Perfectly round, natural beads provide a gentle grit. Instead of using harsh scrubs like apricot shells that cause micro-tears, Jojoba beads safely buff away the dead, 'frosted' skin cells resting over your tattoos.
Activated Charcoal (The Detox Magnet)
Charcoal naturally binds to impurities. It safely draws out daily grime and surface impurities, leaving the skin base deeply cleansed and perfectly prepped without feeling stripped.
Olive Oil & Shea Butter (The Barrier Repair)
Once the dead skin is cleared, you cannot leave the fresh skin exposed. Our heavy, cold-process base floods the living tissue with fatty acids, restoring the skin's natural moisture barrier so the canvas remains healthy.
